As you may be aware, the Bank of Canada, through the Canadian Alternative Reference Rate (CARR) Working Group, is leading efforts across the financial industry to create new risk-free interest rate benchmarks to replace common benchmarks used today. This will be a significant change in the financial industry, both worldwide and potentially in Canada as well.
