System Alert - Brute Force Attacks (log in required)  We would like to raise system awareness on a recent spike in brute force attacks attempted against some clients within the last few weeks. These attacks all follow a similar pattern where we witness a spike in traffic from a specific source internet protocol (IP) that targets a specific financial institution (FI). It then cycles through various login (user ID known as a PAN) iterations with a same standard password (i.e., PAC) in an attempt to gain access to an account to complete fraudulent transactions.  These Canadian Housing Markets Took A Beating In 2018.
