Opening the Door on Open Banking

Economic Commentary - Toronto/Hamilton Housing Speculation
Chief Economist Helmut Pastrick looks at house flipping in the Toronto and Hamilton Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs). Some highlights: 
  • Speculation wanes according to holding period measure
  • Inconsistent statistical relationship with prices
  • Fundamental factors more important for prices
