MemberDirect Advisory: Browser and operating system support effective July 2019   -login required
This advisory is for all MemberDirect® clients. Central 1 regularly reviews browser and operating system adoption metrics to ensure that the popular browsers and operating systems used by your members are supported. 

Advisory: Online International Remittance Changes to Fraud Warning    -login required
Western Union has had a regulatory requirement imposed upon them by the Federal Trade Commission regarding the fraud warning disclosure displayed to customers. As our partner for Online International Remittance (OIR), Western Union has asked us to make the following changes to the OIR application, effective July 17, 2019. 

B.C. Weekly Economic Briefing
  • B.C. housing starts post a blow out month in June but pull back expected
  • Urban area starts up 18 per cent through mid-year
  • Non-residential permit trend positive despite second straight decline
  • Employment eases in June, but up 4.4 per cent from 2018
  • Unemployment rate low at 4.5 per cent but edged higher from May
  • Vancouver metro outperforms rest of the province
  • Mixed performance among sectors
  •  First half housing starts in Ontario are lagging last year's pace by 20.8 per cent
  • Higher building intentions in May of institutional spaces could not offset the declines to commercial and industrial building intentions
  • Ontario shed 7,000 net jobs in June
