View this email in your browser October 30, 2019   Central 1 News Bank of Canada Rate Announcement  Commentary from our Chief Economist Helmut Pastrick  There was no change in the Bank of Canada's policy rates following today's announcement. While no rate change was widely expected, the focus was on the Bank's assessment of the economy and the possible path of future rate settings.
