B.C. Economic Briefing
• Resources drive plunge in goods exports
• Population growth climbs at moderate pace driven by international inflows
• Lower Mainland home sales head back to normal, market conditions stabilizing

Ontario Economic Briefing
• Ontario's population up by over 82,000 net new residents to 14.6 million in the second quarter
• Weaker production of motor vehicles and parts brings down the overall motor vehicle and parts manufacturing in July
• Tourists spent a larger chunk of their money on accommodations and transportation costs in the second quarter over the first quarter of 2019
• Exports remained nearly unchanged in August after very robust growth in July
• Toronto's existing home prices moved up only 1.2 per cent in September 

CMHC Advisory: Increase to Large Borrower Threshold for Multi-Unit Residential Properties - login required 
We have updated the large borrower threshold to $75 million, from $50 million. This is reflected in section 4.3.1 in Part 2 of The Handbook for CMHC Approved Lenders Insurance Initiation – Multi-Unit Residential Properties (5+ units).
