Teddy Bears & Trains

The Christmas Parade is coming, and it's time to get the kids ready to celebrate Santa's return. The Oostburg Historical Society, Oostburg State Bank and Piggly Wiggly are sponsoring "Teddy Bears and Trains," a coloring contest for kids the celebrates the preservation of historical traditions in our community.

Kids of all ages are invited to color and submit "Teddy Bears and Trains," November 14-30.

Coloring pages can be dropped off at: Oostburg State Bank in Oostburg or Cedar Grove, Oostburg Historical Society and Piggly Wiggly in Oostburg. All submissions will be entered to win a Teddy Bear.

November Food Drive

Oostburg State Bank is once again hosting a food drive to benefit the First Reformed Church Food Vault and the Cedar Grove Food Pantry. Bring your non-perishable canned and boxed food donations to either bank location Nov. 1-22 to help us make sure no one goes hungry during Thanksgiving and beyond. Thank you!

Christmas Is All Around!

We've got a lot going on this time of year. Here are just a few things:

  • Toys for Tots Drive: Nov. 11-Dec. 13: Bring in a new toy and help an area child have a very Merry Christmas.
  • Christmas Cookies: Stop in for Christmas cookies at either bank location Dec. 6 and 20.
  • Battle of the Banks! It's our first year participating! Come visit our staff ringing bells on Wednesday, Dec. 4, and help us win the title!
  • Cedar Grove Christmas Market: Dec. 5: Stop in our Cedar Grove office for some complimentary yummy soup from Judi's!
