The modernized site is easier to use, mobile-optimized, and features financial resources to help with any number of life stages and events. Coastal Community is using Central 1's Forge platform to power the new cccu.ca. Innovative and user-focused, Forge is the digital solution that will help Coastal Community amplify its purpose—to help people improve their financial health.  Bank of Canada Rate Announcement The Bank of Canada stayed the course on interest rates by maintaining its target for the overnight rate at 1.75 per cent. The Bank cited signs of stabilization in the global economy, recent trade deals, and stronger global activity and demand in the future as positive external factors. Domestically, the Bank expects a pickup in household spending, housing and business investment with infl ation staying around two per cent.
