Map the System brings Waterloo students around the world

On Thursday, April 15th, UWaterloo's top six teams competed in the 2021 Map the System campus finals. For their research on foreign labour conditions in Malaysian palm oil plantations, Muhammed Ahsanur Rahim, Ewomazino IyanuOluwa Odhigbo and Leah Feor received first prize and the opportunity to progress in the competition.

Raising the volume on Unmute

After 26 performances for audiences across Canada, sparking critical reflection and discussions about domestic violence and the role played by bystanders, Theatre of the Beat is thrilled to announce that this is only the beginning for Unmute.

Saying "Until next time" to the Centre's Winter 2021 co-op students

As the Winter 2021 semester comes to a close, the Centre wishes our departing co-op students a fruitful Spring term as they head back to class.

Thank you to Vicky Hou for her outstanding data management skills, and Kirsten Mosey for spending a fourth semester engaging with the Centre and our community partners. You will both be missed!
