Meet the co-op keeping housing affordable in Waterloo Region

Building community-based evaluation capacity to advance SDGs
Registration is now open for a two-part virtual workshop co-hosted by the Centre for Community Based Research and Conrad Grebel University College for community-based organizations in Waterloo Region working to promote peace and justice, quality education, and/or gender equity. Learn more and register for the November 19 and November 26 workshops.

MEDA Convention 2021: Rising Together
Connect with MEDA community members to share resources, knowledge, and access to opportunities that will help communities and organizations grow further, and more sustainably. Register to attend the 2021 MEDA Convention virtually from November 5 - 6, 2021.


Peace is Everyone's Business Book Launch
Celebrate the launch of Peace is Everyone's Business on November 11, with presentations by Lowell Ewert (former CPA Research Fellow), Fred Bird, and a few collaborators during this virtual event. Afterwards, ask the editors and authors your questions during a Q&A segment. Visit Grebel online to register.

MCC Peace Conference
The 2021 Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Peace Conference will discuss what it means to practice reconciliation in action on November 19 & 20. Register for the virtual conference.

If Trauma Could Echo Project
If Trauma Could Echo is a community-based project that acknowledges and grieves the untold stories of trauma collected from students, staff, and faculty at Conrad Grebel University College and the University of Waterloo. This project accompanies Yasmeen Nematt Alla's exhibit at the Grebel Gallery, Not Traumatic Enough for a Shock Blanket. This project will run until December 20, 2021.

Manager of Learning Events, Tamarack Insitutite
Tamarack is looking for the right person who has a strong interest in events at Tamarack, understands the value of strategic learning and events as a mechanism to engage key stakeholders and community changemakers and wants to make a difference in the world. Manager of Programs, The Ripple Effect Education
The Ripple Effect Education (TREE) is hiring a Manager of Programs. In this role, the Manager of Programs has the opportunity to build community with TREE staff, while developing and maintaining people-focused systems and communicating the impact of our work in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to and works closely with the Executive Director.  More information is provided in the Manager of Programs job description.
