Sounds like a Farm Bill deal is coming (like winter?) that includes Senate SNAP provisions. Funding Opportunities

  • Compeer Financial Fund for Rural America has opened their grant program application; priority for Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin territory. Deadline Nov. 30
  • FoodShot Global is awarding up to $10 million in equity, up to $20 million in debt, and $525,000 in prize funding for innovations in soil health.  Deadline is December 1.
  • Community Food Strategies's micro-grant program for NC food councils/networks. Deadline Dec. 17
  • RAFI-USA 2019 Agricultural Reinvestment Fund grant program. Deadline Jan. 4
  • HFFI Grant Program. $1.8 million available to support eligible fresh food retail in underserved areas. Register for 12.13.18 and 1.8.19 webinars here. Application deadline is 2.14.19. 
  • NEW Natural Capital Investment Fund has launched RESEED Recovery Fund for farmers and value-added producers affected by hurricanes Florence or Matthew.
