Interested in running Chicago and getting one step closer to earning your Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star Medal? You're in luck! There are a limited number of entries still available for the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon through the event's official Charity Program. Since 2002, the program has raised more than $185 million for local, national and international causes. Make your Chicago Marathon and World Marathon Majors Six Star journey more meaningful by running on behalf of a charity.

Abbott World Marathon Majors spring event line up
Earlier this month, more than 34,000 runners took on 26.2 miles and crossed the finish line at the 2019 Tokyo Marathon. In the elite race, Ethiopians Birhanu Legese and Ruti Aga bested their opponents finishing in 2:04:48 and 2:20:40, capturing their first Abbott World Marathon Majors wins. The elite wheelchair race saw exciting performances, with past Bank of America Chicago Marathon champions Marcel Hug and Manuela Schar, breaking the tape first in 1:30:43 and 1:46:56. Congratulations to everyone who competed in this year's race!
