View this email in your browser Central 1 News you need to know Central 1 Announces Elected and Appointed Members to its Board   Central 1 has announced the re-election of Bill Kiss and the election of Mary Falconer and Cheryl Wallace to Central 1's Board of Directors. In addition, Meridian Credit Union Limited has elected to appoint Sunny Sodhi to Central 1's Board. Each director will serve a three-year term, beginning at the end of Central 1's annual general and special meeting on April 25, 2019 (AGM).  Advisory: reCAPTCHA and Privacy (login required) At the beginning of the year, we launched reCAPTCHA in record time to help counter the effects of the ongoing brute force attacks. Recently we were made aware of the privacy implications of this new feature. Google gathers the user's cookies and other device information to assess whether they are likely to be a human, or a machine. If you have reCAPTCHA active on your site, we recommend that you work with your legal counsel to update your privacy policy and include language that you are using reCAPTCHA.
