B.C. Economic Briefing
Highlights:
  • Export sales momentum sluggish despite year-over-year gain
  • January payroll employment up 3.1 per cent
  • Average weekly earnings growth stalls • Job vacancy rate remains highest in the country
  • Small business confidence languishes
  • Large metro markets drive B.C. population growth in 2018

Ontario Economic Briefing
Highlights: 
  • Hiring increased in January offsetting last month's job losses
  • Exports rebounded strongly in January
  • After two months of gains small-business confidence fell sharply in March
  • International immigrants continued to lift Ontario's population in 2018
  • Motor vehicle and parts manufacturing increased by 3.7 per cent in January

As ​communicated on October 24, 2018, demand for credit facilities has increased significantly over the past year. We've made changes to our Credit Facilities to improve how we support and meet the evolving needs of the credit union system.
