Happy Global Running Day! On the first Wednesday of June, runners from around the world celebrate the sport of running by logging miles and inspiring others to join our global community. This Global Running Day, we encourage you to get out there and get after it. Be a part of race weekend excitement The Advocate Health Care International Chicago 5K is the perfect way for you to stretch out your legs before the big day or join in the excitement of race weekend. The 5K course starts at Daley Plaza, the original start line of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. From there runners will weave through the streets of Chicago's Loop neighborhood and finish near the Chicago Marathon start and finish lines in Grant Park.
