Special treats for dairy month, community shredding coming in July

Did you know that there are nearly 29,000 cows in Sheboygan County alone, producing more than 600 million pounds of milk annually? It's no wonder why we love celebrating Dairy Month in June! This year, Oostburg State Bank's Dairy Month Celebration has something for just about everybody, including: Six Little Cows Naming Contest – Six little cows have wandered into both bank locations and we're giving kids – 10 and under – the opportunity to name them. All kids who enter get a 100 Grand (candy bar) and six lucky kids will be able to take one of the cows home. Dairy Treat Days – We are once again celebrating Dairy Month with some sweet treats. Visit either location on between 2:30 and 4:30 on June 21 and June 28 for some complementary delicious dairy delicacies from Küps Coffee & Ice Cream and Gibbsville Cheese. Join us in our celebration of all things dairy! See What We're Doing for Dairy Month It's time to start shredding again! Oostburg State Bank is once again hosting a Community Shredding Event on Saturday, July 13, in our parking lot. Last year, we shredded a record 8,000 lbs. of sensitive documents, old bank statements, outdated tax returns and more, and collected more than 350 lbs. of food for local food banks.
