• Provincial home sales surge 14 per cent from June on broad regional gains
• New vehicle sales drop 14 per cent year-overyear
• Self-employment up in business counts

Ontario Economic Briefing

• Existing home sales increased by 2.4 per cent in July and average price by 2.3 per cent
• New car sales increased in June, but average prices of trucks and passenger vehicles declined
• Ontario accounted for signifi cant shares of year-over-year growth in businesses with and without employees
