U.S. Paralympic Team Trials The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is proud to the host of the 2020 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials Marathon on Sunday, October 13. The nation's top wheelchair racers will have a chance to punch their tickets to compete for Team USA at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

Volunteer at the Advocate Health Care International Chicago 5K Support runners and join in the Advocate Health Care International Chicago 5K celebration as a volunteer! Before the race volunteers are needed at the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo to distribute race bibs. You can also volunteer on race day at the start line in Daley Plaza or at the finish line in Grant Park.

See the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in Chicago The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is coming to Chicago! Presenting 'The Galaxy's Greatest Hits' to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, this one night only concert takes place the evening after the marathon at Symphony Center, Chicago on Monday, October 14.
The event will invite guests to another world as the orchestra performs favorite space classics from Star Wars, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Gustav Holst's The Planets, Star Trek, Apollo 13 and 2001: A Space Odyssey. The concert will be hosted by George Takei, Mr Sulu from Star Trek and feature special guest Charlie Duke – the tenth and youngest person to walk on the moon, as well as jazz greats Kurt Elling and James Morrison.
