Visit the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo
The Abbott Health & Fitness Expo features more than 180 exhibitors offering Bank of America Chicago Marathon merchandise and the latest in running footwear, apparel, nutrition and technology. Additionally, the Health & Fitness Expo is the home of the participant packet pick-up for all marathon participants. Held Friday and Saturday at Chicago's McCormick Place, the two-day Expo is free and open to the public. Please note: Participants must pick up their own participant packet at the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo during regularly scheduled hours. Individuals will not be able to pick up participant packets on behalf of others.

- Applications for the non-guaranteed entry drawing and the official Charity Program will open on Monday, October 21.
- All other guaranteed entry applications will open on Monday, October 28.

Information presented by Molex will be available throughout Grant Park on race day. Volunteers at information tents will be available to assist participants and spectators with event information, course maps and general event inquiries as well as lost and found items.

Bank of America Chicago Marathon Event Alert System
The color-coded Event Alert System (EAS) will communicate the status of course conditions to participants and spectators leading up to and on race day. The levels range from Low (green) to Moderate (yellow) to High (red) to Extreme (black) based primarily on the weather, as well as other conditions. Please keep an eye out for EAS communications throughout the week and on race day. For more information on the Event Alert System, click here.
Goose Island Post-race celebrations
Goose Island is proud to set the pace for race day refreshments in Chicago. Enjoy 312 Urban Wheat Ale or a Born + Raised Cream Ale at the Biofreeze 27th Mile Post-Race Party, in Grant Park's Butler Field, immediately after the race.
After the Biofreeze 27th Mile Post-Race Party, continue the celebration at one of the six Goose Island Post-Race Participant Celebrations throughout the city. Be one of the first three hundred and twelve runners to arrive wearing a 2019 finisher medal, at any of the six locations, and the first 312 Urban Wheat Ale is on the house!

Experience race weekend with Bank of America
Join Bank of America at the Abbott Health and Fitness Expo and show how you have the power to go the distance! Track your distance trained or traveled using their distance calculator and hear from endurance industry experts in the Merrill lounge as you prepare for race day. Bank of America customers can register for a special shout out on the jumbotron in the Bank of America cheer zone located along Michigan Avenue between 16th Street and Roosevelt Road. Spectators get prepared to cheer on your runners with signs and noisemakers, available at the Bank of America booth and on-course in the Bank of America cheer zone.
Create a digital cheer card for your runner
Biofreeze will be providing digital cheer cards on-course to help runners achieve their personal bests. Here's how it works:

Advocate Health Care Recovery Monday
Join us the day after the race, on Monday, October 14 for Recovery Monday presented by Advocate Health Care. Clinicians will be available to check on injuries, massage therapists will be providing muscle relief and yoga sessions will take place to get you back to where you need to be post-finish line.
Recovery Monday will take place at the Hilton Chicago in the Boulevard Rooms. All activities are available on a first-come first-served basis and are free and open to the public. Continue reading for a schedule of events.

Abbott knows the course is long...but as you close in on the last 1.2 miles, they will be waiting with high fives. You'll see hundreds of Abbott employees and their families cheering you on at the "Abbott Cheer Zone" at mile 25. They will be making some noise and inspiring you to push toward the finish line.
