ICYMI: Detroit on 60 Minutes

Friends,

Earlier this year, CBS News' Lesley Stahl visited Detroit to see firsthand the progress of the city's continued economic recovery, and last night, 60 Minutes aired a story about Detroit's comeback.

60 Minutes highlights the investments made by JPMorgan Chase and our work with tremendous partners across the city, including Sonya Mays at Develop Detroit, Portia Roberson at Focus: HOPE, and of course, the Mayor of Detroit, Mike Duggan. We're so proud CBS was able to tell their stories.

As we have shared before, Detroit's recovery is an example of how collaboration among business, community and civic leaders can help solve big problems and create economic opportunity for more people. It's a model, we believe, for how we can come together and address the big challenges we face today.

We look forward to continuing our work together, applying what we've learned from our investments in Detroit and other cities and ensuring all communities grow and thrive.

I hope you will take a moment to view and share it with others. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions.

Sincerely,

Peter L. Scher
Head of Corporate Responsibility
Chairman of the Mid-Atlantic Region
