114 teams registered for Map The System!

299 students, making up 114 teams, have registered to take part in the University of Waterloo's Map the System 2020 competition, facilitated by the Centre for Peace Advancement.

Peace Innovators making their mark

Positive messages on bridges to assist in suicide prevention. A conference to develop affirming churches. Youth workshops to improve mental health literacy. These are the kinds of lasting impacts that come about through the Peace Innovators Scholarship and Mentoring program.

Students engaging in drone dialogues

More groups than ever have been visiting the Centre for a tour of our current exhibit, "The Cultural Life of Drones: KW Drone Dialogues". The University of Waterloo's English Language Institute, the Centre for Society, Technology and Values, and the Peace and Conflict Studies program have each brought students to engage in dialogue about #peacetech
