Back to basics When: Wednesday, March 24, 2021 Noon–3 p.m. ET Session 1: Back to basics: Core option concepts Noon–1 p.m. ET Do you think you might want to trade options? Please join Fidelity and the OCC while we cover the basics for those new to options trading or for anyone looking for a refresher: What are options? How do options work? What you need to know before trading options. In addition, we will provide a systems demonstration using Fidelity.com, focused on option quotes and the option trade ticket, so you will be ready to start trading. Session 2: Understanding how options are priced 1 p.m.–2 p.m. ET Ready to trade options? Is the option price or premium high or a bargain? How will volatility impact the price? Understanding how to value the option premium and the impact of volatility can be helpful in making trading decisions. Join us while the OCC and Fidelity dig into options pricing, to give you more confidence in your option trade decisions. We will provide real examples and show you how to evaluate the price and place a trade.
