Unsold new homes in Ontario were on the decline in 2018 (Livabl, mentions Edgard Navarrete, Central 1's regional economist)
Sales activity in Ontario's existing-home market was slowing last year, but homebuilders weren't saddled with high levels of new unsold dwellings, suggests a recent report from Central 1 credit union, which predicts the trend will continue.

A Call to Cloud on Canada's West Coast (Amazon Web Services Podcast, features Central 1's Nicolas Untz & Alexander Chan)
Canadian organizations are focused on how to innovate on behalf of their customers. Central 1's CIO, Nicolas Untz, likens the credit union's customer-centric mindset to that of Amazon Web Services (AWS). The organization recently migrated its help desk to Amazon Connect, calling the solution "an order of magnitude cheaper" that its on-premises solution. Watch to learn more. CMHC Notice - Upgrade to Transport Layer Security 1.2 (login required)
Further to our communication last May, CMHC wishes to inform Approved Lenders that effective January 24, 2019, we will no longer support Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption protocols below TLS 1.2 for email servers end-to-end.
